American Legion Auxiliary Unit 119
What does the Post 119 Auxiliary do?
The Post 119 Auxiliary is actively involved in a variety of programs to support veterans, to enrich the community, to enhance the social life of Post 119 and Tavern at the Legion, and to raise the funds that make it all possible. You can see Auxiliary members assisting with Bingo events, helping Tiny Tots meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, cooking for special occasions, holding community events, helping the Tavern decorate for holidays, volunteering on a weekly bases at the Tavern, and even selling poppies for fundraising! It is all accomplished with volunteers.

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 119 is independently organized as a nonprofit corporation in the State of Colorado.
Membership dues in Auxiliary Unit 119 are $50 per year, Those dues include membership in the National American Legion Auxiliary.
Auxiliary Unit 119 meets the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm.

Who can be an Auxiliary Member?
Scroll to the bottom of this page for a link to a membership form. The following categories of women are eligible for Auxiliary membership:
- The mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, granddaughters, great-granddaughters and grandmothers of American Legion members.
- The mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, granddaughters, great-granddaughters and grandmothers of those who served in the Armed Forces of the United States during any of the eligibility periods listed and who died in the line of duty during such service, or who, having received an Honorable Discharge, died after such service.
- The mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, granddaughters, great-granddaughters and grandmothers of those who were citizens of the United States and who served during any of the eligibility periods in the Armed Forces of any of the governments who were allies of the United States and who died in the line of duty during such service, or who, having received an Honorable Discharge, died after such service.
- Women who are eligible for membership in The American Legion in their own right.
This eligibility includes step-relatives.
Who can be an Auxiliary Member?
Auxiliary has been welcoming the Tiny Tots to meet Santa for over 60 years.
Auxiliary members costume-up to help with the annual Haunted House.
Each year, Post 119 Auxiliary shows their appreciation for teachers by providing fruit baskets to the schools during National Education Week.
